By using Homeward, you agree to these terms. Please read them before creating an account.

The service

Homeward is a family organization app that provides shared calendars, meal planning, chore tracking, grocery lists, and messaging. The app is free to use for a single user. Adding family members requires a one-time purchase.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (children can be added as household members by a parent)

Your data

You own your data. We store it to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle it.

• You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us
• We don't claim any rights to your content (photos, messages, notes)
• We may delete data from inactive accounts after 12 months of no sign-in, with 30 days notice via email

Purchases

• Homeward offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase to unlock family features
• The purchase is tied to your household and applies to all members
• Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play per their policies
• We don't offer subscriptions — one payment, lifetime access

Acceptable use

Homeward is designed for family use. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Share content that is harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to access other households' data
• Reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app
• Use automated systems to spam or abuse the service

Service availability

We aim to keep Homeward available and reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance or updates. We'll try to notify you in advance when possible.

Limitation of liability

Homeward is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including data loss, missed events, or incorrect information. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll notify you in the app for significant changes.

Termination

You can stop using Homeward at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state where Ratio et Ars is incorporated.
